A letter to my two year old.

It's hard to believe as I'm writing this that I am your mom. YOUR MOM. This is crazy to me because I was one of those girls who swore I never wanted kids. It was because I didn't know what joy a child could bring, especially one like you. I never knew my heart could love this much and continue to grow minute by minute. Not only do we share a bond that grew inside of us as we both became one, but it has become a friendship throughout these short two years of your life. You are my very best friend.

Since you were young, you had a spark in you that never seemed to dim. You are so bright in every definition of that word. It's astounding how smart you have become in such a short time. I also can't believe that such a little person can teach me so much about every aspect of life. Every emotion, every action, every mistake, every lesson learned from you is a cherished moment by me. I only hope to teach you as much as you've taught me.

I love you so much, Giuliana. My life revolves around you, because I want to be with you always. When I stayed home with you there was nothing more that we loved to do then cuddle. After every crazy morning I always say to you "Ok, let's go chill for a bit and cuddle." Now, you tell me all the time "Mama, I just wanna chell and cuddle" lol. We lay there and just take in those short moments that I must sadly admit, I know won't always stay that way. I smell your hair that has now lost it's newborn smell, but still reeks of innocence. I hold your hands that seem to grow every day. I hug you close and feel your heartbeat as it once was in my belly. I kiss you and tell you I love you constantly, because LOVE is all I can feel.

You are my child, you are mine.

I will always protect you in every way possible. I will consistently teach you how to love, even yourself. I will continue to show you all the possibilities that lie ahead of you. I will help you with anything you need. I will hold you close when you need a hug. I will teach you to stand firmly on your own two feet. I will teach you to take care of your body, mind, and soul. I will teach you to believe in yourself and others. I will teach you forgiveness. I will teach you about prayer and God. But most of all, I will teach you about YOU and how much you mean to me.

I will always love you Giuli, you will always be my babygirl. Don't you ever forget how much you mean to me.

love, mommy.

The latest..

Not much going on here. That's probably why I haven't blogged in a while. I was scared this was going to happen. That I'd have nothing interesting to say and BOOM! There goes the blog! Lol

Well, I've been getting more into photographing basically anything I can get my lens in front of..or behind? Anyway, I've decided to give it a try and set up three shoots with some friends. It's very premature, but I wanted to get an idea of what my style is, because frankly I HAVE NO IDEA! The weather hasn't been so friendly (I do live in ARIZONA) so we'll see how it goes!

I have so many ideas for each photo shoot! I can't wait to get started! Unfortunately, the reason why I haven't gone full force into this is because I don't have the funds for all the equipment or time to give. So after this hopefully I'll get an idea of what I'm getting myself into and maybe jump start a career? Lol.

Gosh, I'm so exciting! You must be at the edge of your seat...hahah...ok guys, here are some shots I took with my Nikon! ENJOY!

I just love the moon! It's such a beauty!

This was from the twins' first birthday! How cool that their mom had everyone at the party sign these baseballs for them to look back on later! :)

 CALIFORNIA!
These are from a family FIESTA we attended earlier this month! Sooo much fun and so festive!

Mmmmmm! San Pedro has THEE best michelada's, this is saying a lot because I absolutely hate micheladas! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE!
Sunsets, The Moon, and flowers are one of my most favorite things to photograph. I love nature and all it's beauty. Even this one below, at it's dying stage, it's still so pretty!

Having some fun on daddy's '85 Chevy!

Love that pouty face! Her big adorable lips and that signature nose! She's the most beautiful thing to ever be behind my lens. I love this little girl in all her entirety.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: NONE of these are edited. I wanted you to see how the camera works without any filter or effect. Once I start to get into that stage I'll share before and afters and all that fun stuff! Thanks for reading!
